Brody Lamb | 6’0 Forward | Dodge County | Green Bay Gamblers | #1 Overall
Brody Lamb had one of the best seasons that a forward has had in recent times and maybe even all times. Lamb finished the year with 52 goals and 35 assists for a total of 87 points! He is committed to the University of Minnesota and is planning on playing there in two years. He is playing in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers to try and develop more to be able to play at the D1 level in 2 years. Lamb has played in 7 USHL games since the high school season, and he has 2 assists so far. Decent start, as it is just a developmental year and he returns back for his senior season to potentially hit 100 points in a season.
Jackson Blake | 5’10 Forward | Eden Prairie | Chicago Steel | #2 Overall
Jackson Blake had such a solid season as he won a state championship and did it with 58 points. He is the top playmaker in the state for the class of 2022- he finished with 38 assists and 20 goals. Blake is committed to the University of North Dakota and plans to play there, after his senior year next year. Blake has been playing at Chicago Steel since the fall. Since the fall he has played 25 games and has 17 total points with 7 goals and 10 assists in the USHL. He would be the #1 player in any other class, but Lamb is a next-generation scorer.
Tristan Sarsland Tristan Sarsland 6'0" | Defense Benilde St. Margarets | 2022 State MN | 6’0 Defenseman | Benilde St. Margarets | Fairbanks Ice Dogs | #3 Overall
Sarsland had a really good junior campaign as he finished the year out with 12 goals and 12 assists for a total of 24 points. He has plans after high school to go play at Colorado College- he is a very big get at defenseman for them. He is currently in the NAHL playing for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs where he has 2 points (1 G, 1 A) in 4 games. We look for him to continue to improve as he is returning as the top defenseman in the state for the upcoming high school season.
