Then will say if we think they will be featured in the next article. This is the last article about the junior forwards; after this, we are dropping the junior defenseman newcomers and that is it for the junior class. Here are the newcomer forwards in the class of 2022 rankings.
August Falloon | 6’1 Forward | St. Cloud | #43 Overall
August Fallon has a really solid year this year and led his St. Cloud squad in points. In only 15 games played he had 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points. August averaged an impressive 1.73 points per game and had 15 points in his last 5 games of the season. August had a very good end of the season this year, so he will likely be in the next rankings update, and also may even move up a bit. Last season he finished with 43 points and in his freshman year had 29 points. He is a super good scorer that has had an amazing career so far and will continue that next year.
Simon Davidson Simon Davidson 6'0" | Forward Duluth Denfeld | 2022 State MN | 6’0 Forward | Duluth Denfeld | #44 Overall
Simon Davidson Simon Davidson 6'0" | Forward Duluth Denfeld | 2022 State MN had an even better season than Falloon had- meaning he is very underrated currently. In just 16 games Davidson had 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points. He also averaged 2 points per game and improved that by a decent amount where last year he averaged 1.32. Very good improvement from last year to this year got Davidson featured in these junior class rankings. I expect a 40 point season from him next year with the current improvement and average just above 2 points a game. Davidson will stay in the next ranking update and should definitely move up.
Blake Lueck Blake Lueck 5'10" | Forward Spring Lake Park | 2022 State MN | 5’10 Forward | Spring Lake Park | #47 Overall
Blake Lueck Blake Lueck 5'10" | Forward Spring Lake Park | 2022 State MN had a super impressive 40 point junior season for Spring Lake Park. He had 22 goals and 19 assists this season. He had a really good last 4 games where he had finished the season with 14 points in those games. He averaged just above 2 points per game at 2.16- and he only had 3/19 games where he did not score a point. Lueck is also severely underrated and at 40 points as a junior, and he is bound to move up a decent amount this offseason. This is a very good player and his start of the season this year led him to be put in the rankings.
Gavin Brunmeier Gavin Brunmeier Forward Mankato West | 2022 State MN | Forward | Mankato West | #48 Overall
Brunmeier ended the season with 30 points in 20 games with 17 goals and 13 assists. Brunmeier had a very solid start to this year which is what got him ranked- he did not have the best end of the year, but still had a good year overall. Gavin had an average of 1.50 points per game this year and had a +/- of + 23. Brunmeier is a super impactful player for his Mankato West squad- he did enough at the start of the year to be ranked in the top 50, and will likely stay for the next update.
