A couple more articles left here for the class of 2022 before we make the class of 2023 rankings. This article talks about the third tier of forwards who are the stock risers and are in the middle to top tier of our rankings and all have had a great season to put themselves there. Let’s get into who has climbed up the rankings the most.

      Barrett Hall Barrett Hall 6'0" | Forward Gentry Academy | 2022 State MN | 6’0 Forward | Gentry Academy | #18 Overall

Barrett Hall Barrett Hall 6'0" | Forward Gentry Academy | 2022 State MN is our top stock riser and he has done this with such an outstanding career so far. In the next rankings update, I can guarantee he will be higher than 18 overall. This season Hall has 20 goals and 13 assists for 33 points- that is good for 2.20 average points per game. Last season Hall had 55 points with 24 goals and 31 assists also good for 2.20 average points per game. Hall also had a crazy 38 point high school season debut in his freshman campaign. Hall has a total of 126 points in his 3-year career and still has the playoffs to go. I expect him to come back his senior season and finish his amazing high school career just short of 200 points. What a career so far for Barrett Hall Barrett Hall 6'0" | Forward Gentry Academy | 2022 State MN – hats off.

      Max Strand Max Strand 5'9" | Forward Roseau | 2022 State MN | 5’9 Forward | Roseau High School | #23 Overall

Max Strand Max Strand 5'9" | Forward Roseau | 2022 State MN has had such an amazing season- his stock is soaring like crazy. Strand has 14 goals and 25 assists for an average of close to 2 points a game. Strand is a balanced forward who has really good playmaking ability but can also but the puck in the back of the net. Last season Strand had 44 points his Sophomore year- that is just crazy for a sophomore in ’AA’. Strand had a really good 14 point summer in the high school elite league. Max is also very underrated and deserves to be ranked higher on the next update.

      Aj Carls Aj Carls 5'10" | Forward Centennial | 2022 State MN | 5’10 Forward | Centennial High School | #24 Overall

Aj Carls Aj Carls 5'10" | Forward Centennial | 2022 State MN is another player that might be underrated due to the career he has had. This season Carls has had 34 points with 19 goals and 15 assists- in 20 games played. In his sophomore season, he had 40 points with even 20 goals and 20 assists. He actually played for Coon Rapids his Freshman year and ended up with a crazy 36 points for a freshman in ’AA’. This is one of the top point scorers in ’AA’ and is definitely moving up a bit into the top 20 on the next rankings update.

Sam Rice Sam Rice 5'6" | Forward Prior Lake | 2022 State MN  | 5’6 Forward | Prior Lake High School | #25 Overall

Sam Rice Sam Rice 5'6" | Forward Prior Lake | 2022 State MN is a small player, but man he is good. The Prior Lake junior has 15 goals and 16 assists in 19 games for 31 points. Rice will be one of the best lines in the state next year, and I think all 3 of those players on the line have a chance to play at the next level. Last year Sam had 27 points in 25 games, which is great for a sophomore in the south suburban conference. This year, Rice’s line had 99 points and I expect them to be in the hundreds next year. I think Rice will take another step up next year and hit close to 40 points.
