There are 7 juniors committed to play D-1 hockey already. There are 4 forwards committed and 3 defensemen. These guys are all in the top 10 of the junior class ranks- with a couple of them being at the exact top. We dive in and take a in-depth look at their high school careers and what their future looks like. In this article we cover the committed junior forwards, the next is about the junior committed defenseman.

       | 6’0 Forward | Dodge County High School | #1 Overall

The top junior in the class is committed to the University of Minnesota. Lamb has been committed there for a while now, and will likely stay committed. Lamb has 54 points this season with 31 goals, 23 assists- he is number three in the state for points. Brody is number one for a reason, as he is one of the best scorers in the state. There is a chance that he skips his senior year and goes off to juniors early next year. Lamb can score with ease and is easily the number one in the class.

      | 5’10 Forward | Eden Prairie | #2 Overall

has been committed to North Dakota for a very long time, as he committed in bantams. The junior missed a couple of games this season, but still has 33 points- 10 goals and 23 assists. Blake is for sure the best playmaking forward in the state. He played with the Chicago Steel of the USHL in the fall and had 15 points. That is a big step for a young high school player like Blake to put up those kinds of numbers in the USHL. This is another player that might skip his senior year and play juniors. is an amazing playmaking forward that seems to have a very bright future.

      Trey Fechko Trey Fechko 5'10" | Forward Edina | 2022 State MN | 5’10 Forward | Edina | #5 Overall

Trey Fechko Trey Fechko 5'10" | Forward Edina | 2022 State MN has been a varsity starter since 8th grade for Holy Family, which is super impressive and unheard of nowadays. Fehcko has 105 career points and still has the rest of his junior season to add to that. He transferred to Edina for his junior season. Fehcko is going to Canada next year to play in the BCHL for the Coquitlam Express and will not play in his senior season. He is also committed to Arizona State University and is playing juniors next year to help him get ready for the next level. A super good career for Fechko in highschool. He is a super-fast two-way forward that will look to end his high school career on a high note for the hornets.

      Dylan Godbout Dylan Godbout 5'11" | Forward Hill Murray | 2022 State MN  | 5’11 Forward | Hill Murray | #7 Overall

The Hill Murray Junior forward is committed to Wisconsin- Hill Murray has produced a ton of players that have committed to the badgers in recent years. Godbout has had a solid career at Hill Murray, and has 39 total points. He committed to Wisconsin in 2019, so after his Freshman season- he has been committed for almost 2 years now. Godbout had a super impressive year at the high school elite league with 18 points in 19 games. Godbout has been committed for so long, that he is another guy that we do not know his status for next year yet. Godbout has a ton of potential, and still has a lot of room to get better.
