#5 Lakeville South
This team is a very stacked team with tons of future junior and D1 talent.
Cam Boche #9 – Senior Forward. Cam is the cougar’s top player so far this year pointwise with 21 points. He has a pretty even spread with 11 G, 10 A. This senior rising star is one of the biggest surprises to the season as he has become South’s leader. Most definitely in the race for Mr hockey, he is a player to watch out to pick up D1 offers at the end of the season.
Tanner Ludtke #4- Sophomore Forward. The young Nebraska Omaha commit is such an unselfish pass-first player, as he has 17 points with 3 goals and 14 assists. His future college coach will look at that stat line and admire it. The young playmaker is a player to watch out for in the future in the hockey scene.
Cade Ahrenholz #19- Senior Forward. Cade is a very physical player with a scary 6’3 210 lb build. He is currently committed to Colorado College and has been since August. Cade is a do it all type player- he can hit, pass, score, defend, and is fast. The type of player that every coach wants on their team- at 11 points and that build Cade is a key piece to the Cougars.
#9 Prior Lake
The lakers feature a very talented first line of forwards that are all uncommitted juniors.
Will Schumaker #24- Junior Forward. Will is leading the lakers in points, with 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points. He is one of the top juniors in the state and can see him start to get some college interest here soon if he has not already. He has been having a big junior year, and will likely be a top player in the state next year for his senior year.
Sam Rice #9- Junior Forward. The speedy junior forward Sam Rice has been tearing it up the first half of the season with a nice 12 points (6 G, 6 A). He has been able to set his line up with some nice assist, but also capitalize with goals on his own when he gets the chance. He is also uncommitted and has a decent chance at getting college interest if he keeps up the good play.
Alex Bump #19- Junior Forward. Bump has also really played a key part in the Lakers’ early success. The uncommitted junior has 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points. Such an unselfish player that would catch a college coach or scouts’ eye. Bump has a point in every game, we will see if the point streak continues today.
