We are featuring any player from all over the state with the best week stat-wise.
Sam JacobsSamJacobs6'0" | forwardMaple Grove | 2021MN had a really strong week this week, as he dropped 7 points against Dodge County in his second game of the week. In that game, Sam scored 4 goals and 3 assists. In the other game of the week for Sam, he scored two goals against Armstrong Cooper. Sam now has 9 goals and 4 assists on the season so far. He is currently in second place in goals scored in the state, tied with last weeks’ #1 star Zam PlanteZamPlanteForwardHermantown | 2023MN.

2. Wyatt Pilkenton | Senior | Goalie | Grand Rapids High School
Wyatt Pilkenton came up huge for his Grand Rapids squad this week. In the first game, he had a shutout on only five shots. Then the next game is the game that has him on the last, as the Thunderbirds faced off against the defending champs Hill Murray. Pilkenton faced 18 shots and only allowed one goal, his play led his team to a huge 2-1 for Grand Rapids. Wyatt currently has the best stats out of any goalies in the state as he has faced 63 shots and has made 61 saves for a Save percentage of .968 and a GAA of .50 in four games.

3. Kade Nielsen | Senior | 5-9, 163 lbs Forward | Burnsville High School
Kade Nielsen has gotten off to a super hot start to the season. The Burnsville Forward is 4th in the state with 8 goals. On top of that, he has 5 assists to put him at 13 points on the year. This last week he had a huge 4 point (2 G, 2 A) game against Eastview in a 5-3 win. Then the second game of the week he had 3 points (1 G, 2 A) in the Bvilles 3-6 loss to Prior Lake. Kade is very meaningful to his team as he has a point in about 75 percent of their goals. Kade is a player to watch for to receive D1 interest this year.
