Over the last few years, tremendous strides have been taken to increase the safety and functionality of goalie pads for net-minders and the statistics haven’t lied. The saves are increasing and the reflexes from skilled training as well. No more is this evident than the Lake Conference with a chamber of puck-stopping goalies.

This list will feature the players giving their teams the most consistent chance for wins by focusing on the stat: save percentage. The following players are sure to be tested this season looking to dent their unscathed nets.

Lakes’ Top Savers

Eli Andrews Goalie (Sr., Eden Prairie H.S.)
No player
has looked more unstoppable coming in for goaltender last year as a Junior filing in last season. Despite limited opportunities, Andrews went 8-1, posting a .911 save percentage, and two shutouts. Look for more from the smooth-skating goalie as one the top leaders for Eden Prairie Eagles in the  2020-2021 season.
