The Moose Lake Area hockey program has had the honor of watching Jordan Fjosne develop as a hockey player and a young man his whole career. Jordan leads the Rebels in total points this season, as well as in prior seasons.
Jordan has been a player of interest since last season and he has steadily progressed since. Speaking with his coaches, teachers, and peers, we found out that Jordan Fjosne is more than an outstanding high school hockey player. He is a hardworking and dedicated student, he is resilient, gritty, and kind, and he is going to make a name for himself in the coming years on the Junior and College circuits. Jordan’s teachers described him as a motivated student, one who works just as hard in school as he does on the ice, and a role model to his fellow classmates. His coaches explained to me that he has worked on his skills and hockey sense from an early age. Growing up Jordan never played on a team with more than 11 players and all those years he helped his team to victory and success. Jordan’s peers say, those around him look up to him, and express gratitude for the young man Jordan Fjosne is. His hockey career will not end after this season, as two Junior hockey teams have expressed interest in Jordan and it is possible he is able to land a scholarship to play college hockey. There is no doubt that Jordan Fjosne is an excellent hockey player and an even better person. It will be exciting to see what his future has in store for him.
For the reasons listed and many others, Jordan Fjosne earns the Prep Hockey January Northern Minnesota’s Player of the Month.
